Many club members have won prizes at international competitions called salons, including several gold medals. Some members have had their work chosen to represent Ireland at international level. In 2024 Gary Loughran, club treasurer, scooped the title Photograph of the Year with his amazing metro station image titled Pannenhuis. To have one’s photograph win the national title of Photograph of the Year is the highest possible accolade that any Irish photographer can hope for and Gary has not only achieved great personal success but in doing so he has raised the national profile of the club.
At just over a decade in existence the club is punching seriously above its weight at national and international level to become one of the most respected clubs in the country.
